1. Data controller

The data controller within the meaning of the GDPR is WG Waechter Group GmbH, Seitenstettengasse 5/37, 1010 Wien, Austria, reachable by email at office@wg-dienstleistungen.at. Full contact and company register details are available on our Legal Notice page.

2. Contact and quote request form

When you use our contact or quote request form, we process the data you enter (name, company if provided, phone number, email address, message text) in order to process and respond to your enquiry. Submissions are sent to our own, self-operated form backend (services/lead-api); the data is stored locally on our infrastructure and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual enquiry) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries). Data is deleted once the purpose of processing your enquiry has been fulfilled, unless statutory retention obligations apply; you may request deletion of a past enquiry at any time.

3. Job applications (Careers)

Through the application form on our careers pages, we process the data you provide (name, phone number, email address where given, and an optional CV upload in PDF or Word format) solely to process your application. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiating an employment relationship). Application documents are deleted once the selection process has concluded, unless you explicitly consent to longer retention (e.g. for a future talent pool).

4. Google Analytics 4 (opt-in only)

For statistical evaluation of page visits, we use — only with your prior, explicit consent — Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies (including ones named _ga and _ga_*) that enable an analysis of your use of this website. The retention period for these cookies follows Google Analytics 4's default settings.

These cookies are only set, and the associated script only loaded, after you actively choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner — before your decision, Google Analytics is not technically embedded at all (Google Consent Mode v2, default: every consent signal set to "denied"). If you choose "Necessary only", Google Analytics is never loaded for that session. The legal basis for this processing is exclusively your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw or change at any time, with effect for the future, via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Data collected via Google Analytics may be processed on Google's servers — including outside the EU/EEA, in particular in the United States; Google Ireland Limited is the entity responsible for processing for the European region. For information on how Google handles your data, see Google's Privacy Policy. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

Should additional conversion tracking (e.g. Google Ads) be introduced in the future, we will update this policy accordingly — until then, no such tracking is active on this website.

5. Hosting

This website is operated on a server (VPS) located within the European Union. When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data (server log files), as occurs with the operation of any website; this data serves IT security and operational stability and is not combined with other data sources.

6. Recipients of data

We do not share your data with third parties, except where strictly necessary for the technical provision of this website (e.g. hosting infrastructure) or where we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell your data.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

8. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy whenever the data we process or the applicable legal framework changes (e.g. when conversion tracking is introduced). The version published at the time of your visit applies.
